Iris Sutton is a painter, mom, dog musher and farmer living in Fairbanks, Alaska. She enjoys sharing her work with friend, family and the larger community. She has enjoyed children’s books and illustrations since childhood and dreamed of one day creating her own book. She and her family take long dog mushing trips into Alaska’s wilderness, and many of her interesting ideas arise from those long hours on the dogsled
